Rin was the only child of a powerful Yamaoka Family. She had a lot of pressure on her to be perfect. She was raised in the traditional ways. Her family put pressure on her to do good in school and bring her family money and honor. But with her mother's failing health and the stress from the bills piling up. This caused her father to snap. He murdered her mother and turned the blade on her. He killed and cut her into pieces hiding her body parts around the town. He hid her heart in an old jewel box. Her soul was bound now forever to the box and where it lived. After her father was arrested for the murders, his stuff the box included was sold off. The hospital Admin buying it.
