Recruitment:

You are to be over 18 to write in this group.

We recruit original characters and species. To qualify for LOU you would need to actually write. No one is required to be an award winning novelist, just write.  We do not follow specific series etc.  So you are free to portray your character as you wish. Once you choose a face claim/name, that specific face claim will be reserved for YOUR character alone. In this way we stop the possibility of mirrors in the group. Yes, you may have more than one character in the group. In the strict provision that you do not abandon any of your accounts! So if you cannot juggle more than one? Don’t create them. We are more for quality than quantity. 

We will be more than content with a hand full of writers that actually write.

NO ONE needs to know who or which writer is behind which account! It really isn’t anyone’s business.  Respect others’ privacy!

Open Roles:

Will be posted in group blogs for you to take a look at.

Activity:

We are aware of everyone having a life and being busy or driving other accounts. Yet … Try to not abandon your account.  Interaction and addition between members is very important. The secret to the success of any group is the activity of the members.

We will post solos on the feed, all you need to do is send it to the Home Page and request that we post it.

Inactivity:

If you have not logged into your group account within two weeks, you will receive a message querying your silence. Life happens and time cannot be controlled along with everyone living scattered across the globe in different time zones. We understand this. Though knowledge is always better than assumption.

DO NOT hound other members for replies. Always keep in mind they are also writing with others or writing solos/replies. Be patient!

Social Outreach:

Group business is to remain exactly that! We will have a discord set up for the group (if the majority seeks it). Respect yourself and other members at all times.

Brand:

All members are required to add the tags ‘LOU’ in their name.

Drama:

None of this will be tolerated outside storylines.  DO NOT bring your hate for previous groups, persons or other sites to LOU! One warning – then you will be asked to leave. Respect the relationships within the group. DO NOT try to cause trouble between two writers who are mated or have a set connection. This is strictly forbidden.  If  A is with B on one account and with C on another account? It’s not your business and has nothing to do with you or anyone else except the parties involved in the union. Do not try to delegate or monopolize anyone in this group!

Cyberbullying/Slights/Shading:

LOU will not allow any bullying toward any member in the group.  We are all for the “live and let live” policy. If you are reported to the admins by another member for bullying – you will receive ONE warning to halt your advances. If to no avail, you will be banned from LOU.

God Modding:

This one should be known but we feel the need to stress the importance of this. No telling others how to play their characters or how to write or deciding when or where their character will meet its demise WITHOUT permission.

Disputes Amongst Members:

Once again, we do not do casting of shade upon another member or user on EOS or any other site! If an issue arises with another member in the group. Bring it to the attention of the admins. No attacking status updates or comments are allowed to be posted. If you are upset? Take a break, take a walk…do whatever instead of writing something you may regret later or which will cause a bigger problem within the group. If this does not succeed, the admins will sort the issue out as diplomatically as possible. Under no circumstance is the rest of the site to see that there is an issue. If there is an issue with another USER on the site – send a personal report to the admins of the site.

Banishment:

You may at the admins discretion receive a warning. If you continue to cause issues you will be banished from the group without warning. If you are found to be posting paedophilia, plagiarized content/writing or are antagonizing in any way you will also be banished.
