Mary was once human long ago. She was a naive young woman who was in love with a married man. The man promised he would leave his wife for her in due time and kept stringing her along. One night the couple was caught by the man's wife. Worried about the social punishments and also being labeled a sinner he blamed Mary saying she was a witch and cast a spell on him. During this the town was already in the grasp of the hysteria of witches and paranormal. The town quickly turned on her and found her guilty. As they set her to burn on a pyre for her so called crimes she waited heart broken and full of anger. Her pleas were heard by a God. One who sought out to punish and torture the so called self righteous.   They promised her they would help her take revenge on the man and the town and give her all the power she wanted if she just made her deal with them. In her broken state she agreed and the devil used their power to turn her into a demonic being filled with a rage unlike any other. The God gave her power over blood, much like what is known as Blood Magic. She killed would be killers with ease and used their blood to kill any around. The ounce innocent young girl was now a blood thirsty twisted shadow of herself. Thriving on violence and brutality, a complete overhaul to the ounce loving shy young woman. The town she left in ash would soon become the site of a new city later built upon this now tainted land. Silent Hill. A town which would become a Hell on Earth for most who enter became her home. Over the years Mary came up with a way to use mirrors to move between places. She came up with the fun game of Bloody Mary, a game in which teens would go into a dark room and beckon her by staring into a mirror saying her name three times. She used this to not only find victims but also to get out into the world to find more to bring back to Silent Hill. Something she did to appease the God who gave her such power. 

Mary now is a nurse at the Asylum. A job she takes serious both helping and harming who are with in. Mary's duality stems for her soft spot for any who are suffering from a man. Her hate and pain still aches from her first love who broke heart. Her moods flip like a coin from kind and caring to sick and twisted. She likes to toy with ones she is in her words, playing with. Her office is the lab, where any medical check ups are held and at times medial care is giving.
